man vs himself

i fight a constant battle between the intellectual and the animal. i realized the other day that this is most manifest in my oscillating choice of desktop background on my pc. i go back and forth between an image of the buddhabrot, a particular fractal rendering of the Mandelbrot set, and various images of woman, in particular a certain rendering of the Johansson breast. basically, these two pictures concisely yet profoundly unveil the full extent of the simple impulses i construe as myself.




currently, the latter one is winning.
