what irks me

so iceland is pretty much fucked as no one wants their currency, the krona. time for them to learn how to live off the land... they should shoot the few bank(er)s that put them in that position. but what's really bothering me are the reports about "pakistan's crumbling economy". economic collapse + global credit freeze + political instability + anti-american sentiment (for raids and drone bombings) + nuclear weapons != rainbows and unicorns. anyone still talking about iraq is slow. i hope obama/mccain knows he has to be prepared for failed state scenarios in pakistan.

also, even as a non-citizen living in the new york area i take umbrage to the claim to "real American"-ness by small-towners. how self-righteous can you be? do you know how i know you're not as American as you think you are? your small town has never attracted a REAL terrorist attack. remember where 9/11 took place? NYC took the hit because NYC is the America that the terrorists you so fear love to hate. big city "elitists" been keeping it real since keeping it real was possible. so small towns, stop frontin'.
